Complete in 2019 this earthquake rebuild in the heart of Merivale is a showstopper in more ways than one.
Designed by Objects to accommodate the needs of our clients as they entered retirement and beyond, this architectural home boasts many features including a hydro powered internal lift.
Other beautiful elements such as opening skylights, raking ceilings, solid oak timber floors and stunning finishes make this home exceptional, and well deserving of the Silver Award won by Gareth Davis Builders at the Master Builders House of the Year Awards in 2020. Design firm Halliburton Gibbons were charged with all aspects of interior design and the finished result is superb.
The exterior of the home was clad in Innowood composite timber cladding and this was one of the first homes in Christchurch to use this product. Attention to detail was required in order to get the mitred external corner detail correct as well as ensuring a perfectly flush finish to the window joinery.
This was an outstanding house project in Church Lane and we are so proud of the finished result, as were our very happy clients
